How We Chose This Location (It Almost Didn’t Happen!)

It all started in our dining room. A room that once held Sunday dinners, birthday candles, and the occasional last-minute school project slowly became something else. The table got pushed aside, tripods moved in, and our chandelier glow was swapped out for softbox lighting.

We didn’t know it then, but that little corner of our home was the seed that would eventually grow into Magnolia Content Studios.

At first, it was just about our family blog. But as I kept creating, it hit me—I can’t be the only one doing backbends trying to get a clean shot in a crowded house. There had to be a better way… not just for me, but for all the other creatives, business owners, and visionaries juggling content with everything else life throws at them.

So, I went looking for it.

The Hunt for the Perfect Space

Excited (and maybe a little naïve), I started searching for the perfect studio location. Eric and I walked through what seemed like 100 spaces that were way too small, way too dark, or way too what the hell is this? And honestly? I was ready to tap out, pull the plug on the whole thing. The vision was so clear in my head, but every space I saw felt like a firm “nope.”

Then our realtor called and said those magic words: “I have one more for you to see.”

Love at First Walkthrough

I stepped into the space with my husband, and instantly knew. We gave each other that look—the one that says, “This is the one, right?” The natural light, the open floorplan, it was everything. For once, I didn’t have to squint and imagine the potential. It was already there.

After so many letdowns—and trying to force other spaces to fit—I walked into this one and immediately felt it. It didn’t need convincing. It didn’t need imagination. It felt like it had been waiting for me. The second I stepped inside, it whispered, “You’ve arrived, sis.”

I could already picture it:

Why Magnolia Content Studios Feels Like Home

Magnolia was built from a need—mine, and probably yours too. A need for a space that doesn’t just look good in photos, but also feels good in person. A space that supports your vision without getting in the way of it. A space that says, “you belong here,” even if you’re just starting out.

But it’s more than four walls and natural light—it’s a community. A place where creatives root for each other, where ideas are shared over coffee, and where someone’s ‘big break’ might just be happening in the suite next door.

So if you’ve made it this far—welcome. Magnolia Content Studios was made with you in mind.

And I’m truly so glad you’re here.
